Insignificant, different, poor...and has an unbelievable voice. He is Paul, the winner of Britain's Got Talent, a talent show for today's generation.
If you go to a casting you dress up smartly you are take care for the outfit. There is a man who bought his suit at Tesco, had a broken teeth...At first sight it's not a perfect superstar but he has got a incredible skill, his voice. When he went to the BGT's first audition and announced to Simon Cowell and fellow judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan that he was going to sing opera. The jury nodded but I think they had no idea that he would sing, Pavarotti's Nessum Dorma. Few seconds later he started his song and everybody was stocked... They didn't expect such a performance! So he had a big success and of course we won the competition with £100,000. He has changed but his personality is the same. He get his teeth done, he has invested in some new suits but he kept his Tesco one.
Fortunately, he has a big fame and numerous concerts. Maybe the most honourable performance was in December for the Queen.
At the end I would like to share my favourite quotation from Paul: "All of this is like a fairy tale and I'm terrified I'm going to wake up soon and find I've dreamt it all."
I think he deserves the prize and the respect also!

The first performance

You can compare them... (Pavarotti & Potts)
